30 Days

I knew it had been a few weeks, but I did not realize it's been 30 days since I've posted. A lot has happened in 30 days. Highs, lows and everything inbetween. But we had faith that it would all work out and it did. With a little exhaustion thrown in for good measure!

Let me just say that I HATE moving. I'm not sure that I know anyone that likes it though. We were blessed with beautiful weather and after getting everything moved and cleaned in the old place, are so much happier. With a view like this, who wouldn't be?!

We've had a different sunset every night.

2 days after we moved, the rain started. And it rained for 4 days. I could not have imagined moving in the middle of that! So we will be thankful, grateful and peaceful in our new home, because it could have been so much worse. We had perfect weather!

What road? It gives new meaning to the "Turn around, don't drown" slogan!

I had to priviledge of attending and photographing the dedication of 2 Habitat for Humanity homes today. If you ever have a chance to attend or hear that they are doing a dedication...GO! I met 2 of the sweetest families that have spent the past year or 2 earning "hours" working on other habitat homes with the goal of having their own home. They are required to have 350 hours...the final tally was not in, but estimated to be over 900 hours (including the hours on their own homes). Amazing! I have more pictures in the next day or so, but this one says it all!
