A glimpse

We've had a break in temps and are enjoying the warmer weather. This just makes me want spring to come even faster!

Come on spring! You can do it!

Good morning God!

Lilac's are one of my favorite spring flowers...and I just found one blooming. The way our temperatures have been, they won't be around too long.

Goodbye spring flowers

Spring blooms are almost over and it makes me sad. Although some people will not be sad to see the spring pollen bloom finally over. Yesterdays pollen count was over 750 pollen grains per centimeter...that is NOT good. But I'll be taking pictures until the last bloom fades!

Spring storms

It's been a rough start to spring for many areas around here who have been hit with storm damage. The furry of Mother Nature cannot be stopped. We pray for those who have lost family, friends and the communities hardest hit. As we left the storm shelter Friday night, I was thankful we were sparred...and I knew there were many that were not so lucky. We have to take the good with the bad and pray for understanding. For now, I will welcome back spring with open arms.

Winter returns

Winter has finally returned...hopefully it's short lived and we're back into the 60's in a few days. Unfortunately I don't think these early spring buds are going to survive the freezing temps.

So much to say, so little time. :) Took some flower pictures and I liked the thistle/weeds better. Go figure! Oh well, it happens.

Another try...

Now that the sun's back out, I took a few more...
I like them all, just for different reasons. The blue
sky does add something extra though.

After a wet, chilly weekend, I was afraid my tree was
going to get snapped and lose all it's blooms. No fear, it
is still going strong and we had a beautiful sunset to
round out the day. I'm hoping it's warm enough for the
bees to come back out tomorrow.
