Spring...sorta...

The trees are finally starting to bloom...but it's supposed to turn cold tomorrow and I heard a chance of snow flurries Monday morning. So since someone didn't want to go hiking today, I went in search of something to shoot. Didn't have to go far as the tree outside our bedroom is blooming and the bees have taken over.

Tried the macro setting on my 70-300mm lens...small crop and it's a pretty good photo.

Rainbow wishes...

The boys came in and said "Mom, get your camera, there's a rainbow...

I was in no hurry, I'd seen them before.

Until I got out there...W.O.W.

I have never seen a rainbow (much less 2)

No post yesterday...toasted my fingers in some grease and they were a bit tender (read HOT)...,

 so I kept ice on them all night.

 So, since I posted about my hummers,

I thought I would post one of my other favorite critter/bug photos...

...not sure if this is a dragon fly or a damsal fly???

Raining snow...

and I put up my hummingbird feeders today!

My first little buddy returned the first week of March last year,

during a cold rain,

so I went ahead and did it today...

Positive thoughts on spring being around the corner...

and I'm prepared this year!
